Mother was dear; I hardly
listened.
Wife was dear; times I
declined.
Child was dear; often I
disciplined.
Grandchild was dearest. I let
loose her.
Mother, wife, and children
all
Were to contribute to my
future
But not so is the grand
child,
With my future at its end.
Why should I love her most?
True love has no utility value.
